MESSAGE SERIES: THE IN-CHRIST REALITIES WITH Daddy-ken A. Bitere
KEY SCRIPTURE: 2 CORINTHIANS 5:16-21.
When we began our series, we said that our "In-Christ is our signature. We also said that inheritance is not something you work for. Whatever that came from heaven became ours by the indwelling of Christ. Your reality as a believer is in Christ Jesus, 1 CORINTHIANS 1:19. The word "Yes and Amen" means concluded, accomplished, fulfilled. So, in Christ Jesus, everything God promised has been fulfilled. It is by knowledge we come to know our reality. Your functionality as a believer is a product of knowledge. If you read through the Epistles, you will discover one constant word which is knowledge. The word knowledge refers to the precise, exact, and accurate knowledge, PHILEMON 1:6. The believer's life is only as effective to the degree of knowledge his has acquired in the scripture, 2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17; COLOSSIANS 2:6-9.
We are not for benefits, our In-Christ realities is for relationship, EPHESIANS 1:10-13.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE JUSTIFIED?
To be Justified means to be declared free. What are we being justified from or of? ROMANS 5:1-2, tells us we have been freed from the powers and penalty of sin, before the death of Christ. Man was an enemy of God, and was separated from God (SEE EPHESIANS 2:1-10), but the death of Christ brought us reconciliation. Man therefore was declared free from sin by the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, that's what Paul explained to us in ROMANS 5:1-2. We were not only declared justified, Christ gave us righteousness. You are not righteous because you did right. In fact, righteousness does not come by good behaviors. You are righteous by the finished work of Christ, righteousness is a gift of grace, not by the works of human effort, 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21.
The believer is made righteous; 1CORINTHIANS 1:30.
