KEY SCRIPTURE: 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9-12.

What gives effectiveness to your faith is the Holy Spirit. We have said before that sense knowledge cannot access God, it has to be by faith, HEBREWS 11:6. God begins where man's strength is exhausted. In the Scripture we read, there are things God has made available for us as His children but we cannot access those things if we do not acknowledge it, and it has to be through faith, (PHILEMON 1:6). Faith can only receive what the grace of God has supplied. MARK 11:20-24 reveals to us the power the believer holds when they alter a word, because the Word they speak is a Spirit which is God and it carries the potency of bringing into reality the things they say, (See ROMANS 10:8-10).

Faith therefore, becomes active where the Will of God is known, 1 PETER 4:23; 2 PETER 1:1.

JAMES 1:18 establishes the following;

1. We are a product of His will. We are born by choice not by chance, EPHESIANS 1:5-11; ROMANS 8:27-32. The Bible is not the Will of God but the Bible contains the Will of God, Christ is the Will of God in the believer, (See 1 CORINTHIANS 1:5; 20; 2 CORINTHIANS 2:30).

2. God's Will is the Word of Truth. We are conceived in His will but born of the Word. Truth is not a statement, it is a person, Christ is the Truth. You cannot separate grace from truth, JOHN 1:14, 14:6.
