KEY SCRIPTURE: 2CORINTHIANS 2:14.

The victory and triumphing of the believer is Christ, PSALMS 103:1-4, a life without gratitude tends to be stagnant. Thanksgiving is not an event. You cannot understand the weightiness of thanksgiving until you understand what it means to be grateful. We thank God because there is a blessing in it. Thanksgiving is an appreciation.

TWO REASONS WHY WE THANK GOD

1. What he has done for us in Christ.

2. What he is yet to do with us.

Thanksgiving should be the lifestyle of the believer. Gratitude brings multiplication. Your happiness should be predicated on what Christ has done for you not for the things you already have. Thanksgiving is another means of warfare. When you give thanks, you shows you understand what God has done in the face of your battles.
